Optional meals are provided Monday through Friday at 11:45 a.m.
Heritage Court is classified as a meal site and is part of the
Winnebago County Nutrition Program.
The meal provides a third of the daily nutrition for seniors.
Anyone 55 years or older, whether they live at Heritage Court
or are from the community can dine. Reservations must be made by
12-noon the day before.
Our lovely dining room is the setting for these meals. The food is
served on china and diners are made to feel welcome by our manager and
resident volunteers.
The meal site manager is in charge and solicits residents of Heritage
Court to volunteer their time to make it the success it has become.
Our wonderful group of volunteers help with serving of the food,
clearing of tables, washing up and setting up
for the next day.
Though there is no charge for
each meal, a donation of at least
$3.50 is requested.
